Dungeon synth is not the first thing you think of when you hear “music videos”. A genre that generates no revenue, and is (so far) run on 99% idealism obviously won’t give birth to many massive cinematic productions. There are a few exceptions, though, such as this criminally overlooked little gem from genre giant Erang. It is set to the tune of a track from Tome II and was put online in November last year. Much like the music, it is simple in and very efficient. Effects, some animations and an overall awesome atmosphere work together to create a mix between J.R.R. Tolkien’s The Hobbit and David Firth’s Salad Fingers. It’s excellent viewing, as well as listening. Enjoy!
