About Us
Archaic Triad is all about culture, however we define it. We're a non-profit music webzine covering the underground — from ambient and drone to metal, dungeon synth, noise, and beyond. There will be some navel gazing, rest assured, for within the navel can be found the most important facts of the human condition. At least if you have the right type of navel. We do. By God, we do.
What We Cover
Our editorial focus spans a wide spectrum of underground and experimental music:
- Ambient / Drone
- Metal (Heavy, Black, Death, and related subgenres)
- Dungeon Synth
- Noise / Industrial
- Folk
- Rock / Hard Rock
- Synthwave / Chiptune
Beyond music, we publish film retrospectives, literature reviews, and cultural commentary — because culture doesn't stop at the stereo.
